Opti-Free is a sterile solution with active ingredients Tearglyde® (proprietary dual action reconditioning system) and Tetronic® with Polyquad® and Aldox® preservatives.
Reason for Using Opti-Free Solution
Opti-Free is used for the daily cleaning, rinsing, conditioning, removing protein and debris, disinfection, and storage of silicone and soft contact lenses.

Contraindications for Opti-Free Solution
There are no contraindications for using Opti-Free unless you are allergic to any of its components.
Warnings and Precautions for Opti-Free Solution
Use good hygiene when cleaning and handling contact lenses
Remove imprinted seal around bottleneck completely before use
Wash hands before handling contact lenses
You should clean and disinfect your contacts after each use
The wearing of contact lenses can lead in significant injury to the eye
Corneal ulcers can develop rapidly and lead to permanent loss of vison
Wearing contact lenses over night can lead to increased risks of eye problems
If your eyes become red, irritated, painful, tearing, and/or loss of vision, you should see your eye doctor immediately
Side Effects for Opti-Free
Burning or itching
Foreign body sensation
Change in vision
If you have any of these symptoms, you should take out your contact lenses and se your eye doctor immediately.
Instructions for Using Opti-Free
After removing the contacts lenses from your eyes, thoroughly rinse both sides of the contact lens for no less than 5 seconds. Fill the contact lens case with Opti-Free and store the lens in the case for a minimum of 6 hours. If there is any protein or debris on the contact rinse the contact lens before insertion.
